Adjunct Faculty Position for Mathematics

Status

Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill adjunct teaching positions for the fall semester:  August 26 – December 13.  Positions are available to teach multiple sections of College Algebra, all meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which will be taught on our campus in Lincoln, NE.

MATH 1100 College Algebra (3 hours)

A study of functions from algebraic, graphical, numerical and modeling perspectives. The functions are chosen from among linear, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic.

Qualifications
  • At least a master’s degree in a mathematics or related field, OR a master’s degree in a different field with at least 18 graduate hours in math or statistics
  • Teaching experience is preferred
  • Background check and official transcripts needed after job is offered by prior to employment
